Botox for tongue spasm...anybody tried this?

I've had one sided tongue pain for many years (about 15.). small doses of Klonopin has always helped. up until about a month ago. My tongue has decided to go into major spasm, and it's not cooperating at all...sort of stuck on one side of my mouth and retracting toward the back of my mouth.

Had an MRI, lesion on the medulla is evidently the cause, but she's recommending botox in my tongue which she doesn't do and referring me to an ENT who is fitting me in. I have googled this and it is a treatment for dystonia in the tongue...I guess I don't have much choice but to give it a go. She increased my baclofen and klonopin in hopes of keeping the situation tolerable. It hurts like heck, but strange thing is if I keep a piece of a straw in my mouth and bite down it eases the pain...a sensory trick that is characteristic of dystonias, they can be "fooled" temporarily.

Anybody ever have botox inside your mouth? Well, at least I won't have wrinkles in my tongue
