    Rebif and my liver???

I am so confused. I know rebif filters through my liver and I have to get my liver tested every 3 months. So are there things I should be avoiding? Like tylenol, alchohol, multi vitamin? I just keep thinking maybe until my first blood test I should not give my liver any more stress. Rebif users what do you think?

Hi! Welcome, I've been on Rebif for 11yrs. & the only things my neuro will not let me have is asprin or Nasaids, so I stick to Tylenol. I my case after the 1st year I only had to have liver tests once a year.I've been very blessed on Rebif & I have found thier support group very helpful. But what I like best in 11yrs.I've only had 2 flairs one caused by a major Ecoli infection.
Keep us posted God Bless Nona Judy

To lesson the stress on your Liver the one medication you should avoid is Acetaminophen, Tylenol. It is known to be very hard on the Liver.
