IVIG

Has anyone with secondary progressive ms ever tried intravenous immunoglobin - IVIG - and what were your results? I just finished my 5 day infusion and will be back in November to start my monthly 2 day treatment.

Anyone with a story is welcomed.

I was recently told that I may have to try IVIG. This is new to me. I was diagnosed in Aug 2011, have been on avonex for 9 weeks and i am having my second relapse already.

What are other's experiences with IVIG. Does it always start for 5 days then 2 days a month after. And will I stay on Avones as well????
