I was dx 8 yrs ago with RRMS. Began avonex for 4 yrs. Then neurologist said he wanted me try rebif since avonex was no longer benifitting me. Discontinued rebif w/in 6 mos. Began tysabri for 2 yrs. Then discontinued.
Neurologist said it was no longer benifitting me. I thought I had to come off of it after the 2 year mark.
Tried ampyra but not helpful then did steroids for awhile. Tried gilenya but experienced some issues. Discontinued it.
Neurologist is recommending cytoxan. Need to know if anyone has taken it and what benefit/side effects were there.
I am also dealing with depression and anxiety now. I am taking lexapro, xanax and clonazapam for sleeping. Need some help to determine the right treatment for me.
I have been w/out a MS drug for awhile and see the regression.
