Weight gain on Avonex?

I've gained about 15 pounds since starting Avonex in March....I don't 'think' I've been eating more, but maybe I have. I was diagnosed in Feb, started Avonex in March and went back to work April 1st of this year....seems like I would be burning more calories since I'm up and around. Then again I'm grabbing fast food since I've been so busy.

I asked my nurse and she said it should not be a side effect.

Just checking if anyone else has had this.

Someone else posted about weight gain on Avonex recently, just shows how different we can be. I lost weight on Avonex as it affected how I tasted food and caused a bit of nausea.

It's tough to make good eating choices when fast food is so convenient. I believe fast food is particularly high in sodium content. That could be part of the problem.
