I had an exacerbation 1 month ago and took IV Solumedrol 1 gm x 3 days. I have never really gotten over it with my symptoms continuing to come and go, although much better than the intial episode. I am off balance with alot of pressure in the back of my head and numbness in the roof of my mouth, across my face and head, head tremor, along with some visual problems. I may feel good for a few hrs or maybe all day and then the next day I'm almost at square one. My neurologist says the inflammation is still there and wants me to start ACTH (Acthar) for a 15 day cycle of IM injections. Has anyone ever taken this before and what might I expect??
