Seeing MS specialist for third time tomorrow--frustrating!

I see the MS specialist tomorrow for the 3rd time and have no answers. And I am afraid she won't find anything tomorrow either. My 2 MRI's last year both show the same lone pontine lesion. At my last visit in December, she was leaning away from MS as the culprit because of no new lesions on the second MRI related to symptoms.

I am seriously suffering most recently with dizziness and right facial numbness and eye droop. They have ruled out myasthenia gravis, seizures, lyme, vascular abnormality, etc etc.

Thank you for listening. I don't know what to ask tomorrow or what she will say!

How did your appointment go? I am in a similar situation with third appointment in June. I feel for you COMPLETELY. If I hadn't had such extensive rule-out workups, and mention of neuromuscular signs and symptoms by other doctors I've seen, I wouldn't even want to go see my neuro again.

I am also going in without updated imaging since new/worse symptoms so it seems even more pointless. Just really don't want to be dismissed with another "see you in six months after the MRI."

Whatever happened with your appointment, please let us know because either way we can encourage you, and I am so sorry you are struggling in limbo .
