    Sudden eye droop? ER??

This is the second time I've had a dramatic sudden onset of ptosis. The last time it happened my right side of the face went numb afterwards. This time it was my right foot and lower leg and I have had issues with my right side including loss of dexterity, fatigue, numbness, etc. I feel like a truck hit me today.

I have not been diagnosed with MS but I have seen a specialist twice. I only have one lesion, unchanged on 2 MRIs 5 months apart, so she was erring toward it not being MS. I see her again in May.

I have had no symptoms since November. My symptoms seem to come every 3 months and last 2-3 weeks. What do I do now? Do I go to the ER??

Eye droop sound like an obvious sx that would cause concern in the ER.

I ignored rt arm paralysis over a weekend and have always regretted it. I think an ER visit while the paralysis was in 'full' effect might have led to an quicker MS dx. I'd encourage you to pay a visit to the ER.

Thank you. I agree although now the eye droop is gone and I am left with the pins & needles feeling in my right foot and lower leg. I guess I will call the neuro tomorrow to follow up.

A smart phone photo to document it the next time it happens might be helpful.

        Best of luck
