I just wanted to share something that really helped me and maybe it can help you:
I am like many of you and in the process of being diagnosed for MS. Of course there is no good time to receive this news or be going through something like this, but not being able to afford the medical care is actually what kept me from going to a doctor until I was finally scared enough by my symptoms.
In my research of MS I came across the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) and found where they have an application to receive funding for an MRI for initial diagnosis. There are some stipulations to qualifying but I was approved and just received my MRI. Now I just have to wait for my neuro. appointment to get the results and hopefully some answers.
