    severe pain in feet.

My friend seems to have all of the tell tell signs of MS. She is seeing a neurologist on Friday for nerve tests. She has to pee a lot, she gets severe migraines, she has numbness in her left quadriceps She has never been muscular but in spite of all of the working out she never gets any muscular. She can't even stand sometimes to touch them. - but her biggest complaint is that her feet really hurt. Has anyone had the pain in the feet symptom? Is this common?

    Hi Linda,

Welcome to MS World! What a wonderful friend you are to be searching for some answers for her! I am sorry about why you found us and about your friend, though. I hope her doctors have some answers for her, soon.

Sensory symptoms (also known as paresthesias), that include numbness and pain, are common in MS. Experiencing pain in the feet has been discussed here on MS World before, and here just a couple of links for you:

There are several drugs for this type of pain (for example, Lyrica) that may help your friend. I hope her neurologist prescribes one that offers her relief.

Please keep us informed on your friend. Best wishes to you both
    Kimba
