    What could this be???

Been in limbo for almost 2 years. Seeing an MS specialist as well as a Rheumy.
Mri show lesions but neuro is "not too concerned about them"

Diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia in Jan 2013, on carbamezapine when needed.

Blood work: CRP was 27 back in May 2013 when I had pain in joints. But Rheumy said my ANA was negative.

Now in Sep 2013 re did blood work and ANA is positive.

Rheumy doesn't want to jump to Lupus yet.

I've had weird symptoms for the past 2 years. My worst is the dizziness/ ear pain...I find it's worse then the TN cause I deal with the lightheadness almost every day!

Oct 19...I noticed my right eye had a greyish film on it...and the colour intensity was a lot less compaired to my left eye. ie: my black dashboard is black with my L eye...but grey with my R eye.

The fog/greyish film lasted a day...but the my colour was off for over a week. Finally went to optometrist...she took pic of my optic nerve but said "at this time it doesn't look inflamed"
She's requesting my neuro opthomolagist apt to be moved from Aug 2014 to earlier if poss.
I have other weird eye stuff going on like seeing flashes of light and squiggles of light, in the past I've had very painfull eyeball pain with movement...lasted 3 or 4 days then cleared up on its own.

Went to see my Rheumy..she doesn't want to wait till Aug so she has reffered me to see someone else...but earliest appoint is in March...which is better then Aug!!!

Has anyone one had a greyish film...felt that vision wasn't as sharp..but that went away after a day...the loss of intensity especially to red lasted a lot longer.

What could this be??? I never lost my vision..so I'm kinda stumped

    Thanks everyone!

Hi: I am sorry you are feeling so badly. I have had ON several times but I have never had a gray film over my eyes. Hopefully others will chime in and will give you more help.

I hope you feel better soon!

    Take care

      Hi Lisa,

      Was hoping you may respond

Can one have ON without vision loss or double vision?

I also forgot to mention...that my right eye was noticeably more dilated then the left.

Should I repost this on the symptoms/general questions page?

      Thx

I had ON in 95, my left eye was moving slower than the right, I had no pain or double vision.

I would see an eye doctor if you r having eye problems.
