    Am I jumping to conclusions?

Eight years ago I had optic neuritis; my MRI showed no legions, neuro test was normal. Fast forward to today and I am wondering if I should go to the doctor. Starting on Saturday I began having a lot of leg discomfort. It was like a general tired/crampy feeling, like when you walk all day. I thought it was because I was on my feet all day. But it kept me up all night and wouldn't go away. Motrin has given some relief but it has persisted for the last 6 days. Last night, though, I was woken from burning in my left leg, all the way from my thigh to my foot. The right leg has gotten mostly better but now the left leg has gone from some discomfort to burning, tingling, and aching.

As I looked up MS symptoms to refresh my memory, I realized I have been dealing with intermittent facial tingling for months, as well as very brief dizzy spells.

I am not one to go to the doctor unless it's really necessary, but I do have insurance. Should I sit tight and see how the next few weeks unfold? Do these symptoms sound concerning?

It sounds like you were having a flare or an exacerbation.

I felt really crampy once, and I had to put ice on my legs at night. I still feel numbness in my hands and feet.

Try to see a neurologist that is skilled in treating MS or an MS specialist.

    Good Luck.
