YAY ME!!!
I got a call today from a community access centre. They are contacting an agency that will be sending me an Occupational Therapist this week.
I'm also getting a Personal Care Worker coming twice a week for sponge baths! And if approved by OT, it will be showers.
It feels kind of weird and yet I'm happy because hubby has sore back and arms and has a hard time giving me my bath.
OT will also assess me to see what services I will need. I am already accepted by Access Centre for whatever OT deigns necessary!
After being bedridden for over a month, this is really good news. And maybe some kind of therapy will get me walking again. I really hope so!
