No Longer in Limbo Land! But back to square one.

    Hi everyone,

Well my appt with the MS specialist (second opinion) went well. He looked at my MRI and said my lesions (approx 8) are NOT from MS and are from my migraines.
He listened no all my symptoms : Balance issues / numbness / pins and needles / muscle weakness / weird buzzing sensation
and said they are not related to my MRI findings.

Checked my reflexes and said I was fine (I don't feel fine..but at least I know it's not MS)

He said that if my hand gets numb again and lasts numb for a while (a day or two) to come back and see him.(my numbness/tingling in hands and feet usually go back to normal after I move them around)

So I'll go back to my ENT and figure out why I'm having balance issues...he initially believed my balance prob where from my abnormal MRI.

I need to find out why I'm having these health issues, but at least I can take MS of the list.

Wishing everyone all the best, and that Limbo doesn't last too long.

    Take care,

I am happy for you ( that is if the neurologists have it correct). There are a few diseases that mimic MS. You may want to investigate them. A low vitamin D level is one of the mimics. Good luck

        Thanks guys!

Vit D and B levels are fine...gonna look into Lyme or poss Diabetes (although my levels were normal a couple months ago)

        Sending everyone healthy vibes!

p.s. I'm hoping the neuro got it right too
        only time will tell.
