Welcome, sorry for the reason you are here.
What are of Texas, I am near Houston, so I might be able to help with someone in the Med Center.
I don't have anything on the insurance. I am thinking you would have to deal with pre-existing condition exclusions for MS. If you have to purchase insurance on your own, I am also guessing the premiums would be very high. These are just thoughts, I don't have any experience with this.

I suggest you contact the local MS society or the NMSS in the Texas region where you plan on living. I am sure they could point you in the right direction. Also, you are going to need to find a PCP in that area, you should ask for a referral. If you are lucky, there may be a university medical center near that location. I know that Baylor is very up on treating MS patients. Good luck

No one is going to insure you if they can help it. I don't know the laws of the state of Texas, but if you are able to get insurance through your employer, you'll be OK.

to an insurer, insuring a person with an illness is like insuring a house that's on fire. Sort out your insurance before you cancel your old one. Find out about any laws, state or federal and be sure to contact your MS society. note: you may be able use your current insurance but with reduced benefits. I once had Hawaii insurance after returning to the mainland and was able to use my Hawaii insurance, but only at a 60% coverage.
