    So Frustrated...

I just heard from my new neurologist and they can't fit me in for 8 weeks. I realize that these offices are busy and it would probably take a month or two to get in but hoped it would be sooner. As I sit here the left side of my face and ear are numb...the list of other symptoms goes on and on...I clearly know that there is something wrong and all I want are answers which seem so far away.

I'm going to cry for a bit then I will get up, ignore my crazy body and suck it up for a while longer.

    The days will pass...

    One at a time.
Hope you can get answers too.

You could call the office back and ask to be put on a cancellation list ... good luck and hope you feel better.

I asked about a cancellation list while I had them on the phone. They said they were too busy to have one. Today is a new day and I have re-grouped...not going to let this get me down.

When I first started on this roller coaster ride of of looking for answers six years ago, my first appointment with the MS specialist was set for four months. That the earliest she could see me. Later appointments took a year.

One thing about being in limbo, you learn to be patient. (And after six years, you just give up looking for answers altogether.)

Hang in there. I know the symptoms can be uncomfortable, but you actually kind of get used to them and learn to ignore them after awhile.

          Hugs,

          Lisa
Joy is not the absence of suffering. It is the presence of God.
Cut aspartame from my diet in 2012 and my symptoms have slowly disappeared. Interesting!

Thanks Lisa! It is definitely a lesson in patience haha. Today I am learning to ignore my numb pinkies!

              Numb pinkies also

I originally started going to the neuro because of leg weakness and numb middle, ring and pinky fingers on my right hand. This was before dx of MS. It wasn't until after countless tests for pinched nerves in my neck and upper arm and the dx of MS that the neuro tried another nerve test and found out that the nerve was pinched somewhere between my elbow and wrist. Three drs had never tested the lower arm before. I don't know if you have one or two numb pinkies, but this was just my experience with a numb pinky. I also found out on my own that losing weight eased the pressure on the nerve and brought the feeling back.

oh, the numbness travels haha. I have it in my hands, feet, and face. I am writing everything down for when I see the MS neurologist in October.
