There are some previous posts here with recommendations and some ideas for helping out. Use the search function to do a search.

I believe that one of them had something to do with a bag of frozen peas . . . and there were other things to try as well.

I have pain and bleeding after orgasm but I posted and got very little response.... I think this is a subject people don't talk about much.... I have wanted to talk with my dr but hubby does not so I have left it alone.... Let me know what you find out and if u don't mind what problems you are having

One thing you may want to try is KY hers and his lube. You may not need both - the his is warming, and the hers is tingling. I've found when I'm having problems using it for foreplay (on the "button") and during intercourse helps - and there are sometimes when I just won't reach an orgasm from the intercourse itself (which is actually normal), but again, going back to the button helps.

I just don't have the normal desire I usually do . Sex is painful and we use extra lubrication but it does'nt always help . I'm in pain on the inside . I don't have any bleeding but I do get some bad cramping . I'm just not sure what to do about it .

I want my sex life with my husband to be as wonderful as the rest of our marriage . I did have a hysterectomy 18 yrs ago I don't know if that has anything to do with the pain . All suggestions are appreciated . Thank ya'll so much, Tammy

Although it may be difficult, I would recommend talking to your doctor - neuro, PCP, Ob-Gyn - whoever you feel most comfortable with.

There could be something wrong that the doctors could help with, and you will never know if you don't talk to one of them. There are vaginal disorders, such as vulvodynia (sp?) or pelvic floor disorders that can cause problems, for example.

My guess is that you have no desire because you know that the end result is going to be painful rather than enjoyable. If you can fix the pain part, then maybe you will have more desire.

              Good luck.

                Sex Issues

I used to have lots of internal pain with intercourse. I was diagnosed (by a GYN) with pelvic floor dysfunction. I was referred to an "internal" physical therapist and it made a HUGE difference!!!!!

Definitely talk to a Dr about it. My neuro had sent me to a Pelvic floor physical therapist to help with bladder issues. I had the extra added benefit of her being able to help with some issues I had been having due to discomfort during sex. Pelvic Floor issues are more common than you would think but so often go untreated because no one talks about them. I highly recommend it, although there is nothing that could be done about my occasional loss of sensation, it did help with the issues that were making me hesitant to have sex.

                      Don't take me wrong!!!

I may be in the minority but...I'm a faker. Always have been. I find sex with my DH enjoyable but in my 32yrs...ok don't count all those yrs cuz I didn't start THAT young LOL! I have never reached it to the top. Some of my friends act like I'm weird and some say "me to".

What advice I can offer is, I have a friend who has a lot of pain during sex. She has a tilted uterus and pelvic floor/ bladder problems. She sees a special Dr and says it helps her.

Goodluck though because I can only think if you have made it and now you can't...I hope you do again. Talk to your Dr.

                        Tammy,
Don't know your age but I have been having the same issues......finally went to the gyn dr and was given an estrogen cream to use.....I am past menopause and don't lubricate well..........ky jelly didn't work, and frankly pain pretty bad during the deed......just started using the cream and the doc says to be on it for a week before attempting the deed again.......we'll see how it goes........frankly I could go without but my husband would not agree with that ............
