    cooling gear in February? yikes

Many autoimmune patients struggle with heat intolerance issues. Long before MRI, they would put suspected MS patients into a hot water bath. If this caused or worsened neurological symptoms, it was taken as evidence that the person had multiple sclerosis.

Heat intolerance is the symptom that has the biggest impact on my quality of life.

It's February and I already had to break out the cooling gear. I live in Austin and it's 80 degrees. I am not ready for summer temperatures.

I have a lot of cooling gear, but today my armor of choice is:

Chest - phase change cooling vest
    Head - migraine ice hat

The cooling headgear that I prefer was designed for headache relief, but it's better than any cooling gear that I have tried.

Both MS Focus and the MS Association of America have free cooling gear programs for MS patients that qualify financially.

    Hi Marco!
Wow, 80 degrees already?! Sorry about your heat intolerance, but great you've found some cooling devices that help. Way too soon to start hibernating indoors with the a/c.

    The headgear
link you provided for headgear doesn't work. Can you repost?

I have a bad cold with fever. My heat intolerance is acting from the fevers. Can't move when they get high.
