In trying to make sure that I jumped through every hoop for the upcoming Ocrevus infusion, I reached out to insurance to be sure that I was completely pre-authorized and covered. That was about two weeks ago. This past week a real human being called me from Aetna, provided a direct phone line and her name and said to contact her with any questions for this and future infusions. This was remarkable to me. I guess they realize they are stuck with me and might as well work together. Imagine if that were the default for all insurance!
