I think I need to clarify my original posting. I did not mean to ask if you feel you have been cursed by getting MS, sorry I should have made that more clear. What I meant was do you ever feel that life has a way of throwing obstacle after obstacle after obstacle across your path, not only obstacles but even just things going constantly wrong within the space of a short period of time.
Beginning on September, Friday the 13th (but of course it would be wouldn’t it LOL) I have had so many things go consistently wrong in my life, in my house, in general… to the point where it was becoming suspiciously weird.
I can’t say that I believe in curses but I can’t help but wonder if the universe is trying to tell me something LOL Mind you not a day goes by when I don’t thank God for what I have. I know that whatever I have that is not right could be a whole hell of a lot more wrong than it is. This was in no way about feeling sorry for oneself, that’s not what I meant.
I was just wondering if anybody else ever felt they had been jinxed LOL. Maybe I should’ve used the word jinxed instead of cursed…Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ... Dr. Seuss

Usually when there are obstacle after obstacle thrown our way it can mean we need to look or go in a different direction in life. Sometimes when things repeat we haven't "learned" what these obstacles or weird things are trying to tell us.
Okay, all of that might make you what the heck! As I don't know exactly what is going on in your life (and it's actually none of my business) I may be way off base.
Let me share a little of my story of weird, it may or may not help you.
I have lived in the same house for almost 24 years, we are the original owners and this house was built on land that had once been a working farm. My daughter, from a young age would see an Indian on horse back in full headdress (If that's the proper word for it?). She also saw a little girl in a yellow faded sun suit skipping down the hallway. I, in my infinite (not) wisdom thought it was just a child's imagination.
Many years later I started to experience some very weird and what the heck moments. these included different smells, a dog that ran to the front of the house, looked up to the ceiling and with hackles up, growled. Then did the same thing in the same area in the garage. Just to be clear I was not the only one getting certain smells in certain areas of the house. I was getting a feeling of negative energy, evil spirits, or "something" (whatever one may want to call this) that I needed to remove.
I ended up being "lead" into an area of research I knew nothing about nor had ever heard of. I started getting involved with "cleansing" of my home. For me, this consisted of smudging with white sage. It took me many times and not really knowing what I was doing but I ended up "feeling" a difference in my home and myself. I still do smudging for me and my home and find it very calming. In this process I also became interested in crystals and have many throughout my home.
Those obstacles and weird things stopped happening. I became more open to many different things. I'm not suggesting any of what I have said pertains to your situation or that you are even believing what I have written
During this time I had been in and out of Psychotherapy and I was fortunate enough to be working with someone that understood what I was experiencing. My Therapist was so much help in many different ways because I truly thought I was crazy due to the many things I was experiencing.Diagnosed 1984

1990 was one of those years!
I quit work to go back to college in Jan.
Totalled my car in a snow storm two days before classes started.
Every major appliance in my house broke. Washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Finals week my feet to my waist went numb.
Diagnosed with MS 2 weeks later.
Turned 30 two weeks after that!
I really did feel kind cursed!
The good news is I managed to finish and pass my finals during that first ms attack.
And I went on to get my bachelor's and then my master's degree in spite of MS. Kind of like the rainbow after the storm!

Cursed, as in someone put the whammy on me, no. But there are times I feel like the cosmos is ganging up on me. Then I remember that I’m a puny speck and that I’m not important enough to get noticed by the cosmos, much less acted upon. So I get a good laugh at myself.
It’s not about MS, though. It’s always about my mood at the moment. It’s a
pity party that gets old really fast. 😆

As regards your “other worldly” experiences, been there, done it, got a couple of those T-shirts LOL I just had four mediums come to my home and smudge and “escort” a couple of unwanted entities out of my home. It is too long to go into here and I don’t really want to be taking up forum time with this. I could post several other harsh times, but many of them are similar because perspective really makes the biggest difference. It's often easier to look at the hardships we are currently experiencing while overlooking the blessings of the moment. What we decide to focus on usually dictates our current attitude.
Life will always have it's ups and downs, but without the downs how would you ever know of the ups?
