I try to remember how blessed I am to have a good job and that I'm able to work for as long as I can.
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Another bit of anxiety is piled on us when people think we are "faking illness". One thing we don't need is more anxiety and stress. If your employer saw your medical bills they would know for sure that you are doing the best you can in a terrible situation.
On the other hand, I do remember working with people who actually dramatized a paper cut.Marti
