Has anyone bought and/or used an EMS? I'm trying to recover from a hip operation and use a wheelchair so am anxious to do anything that will stop my muscles deteriorating. Does use of EMS work?

Hi carola I use a tens machine, it has 2 sticky pads you attach where your pain requires it, it is about the size of a tv remote, takes 2 or 3 AA batteries and I use it three or more times a week, it is small in size has a range of features for different parts of your body, it goes from 0 to 10 for a 15 minute period, but I can only handle upto about 6 as far as I am concerned it is worth its weight in gold, choose a good quality unite as you will have it with you always, mine sleeps next to me on my bed side table and I prefer to use it while I lie down Craig
