    CALLING YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY

Has anyone ever called their insurance company on your own to ask why you were denied coverage for a DMD even after an appeal was filed and still denied or did you leave that up to your Neuro?

I call my insurance company all of the time, however, there is usually some procedure you have to go through for denied coverage on drugs or hospital coverage or the like. You can call your insurance's 1-800 number (customer service) and ask them the procedure for appeal.

    Good luck
