Respite care in Orange County, CA

My wife is in desperate need of a break from me. Our son lives in Peru, and she wants very badly to visit him. I'm looking for someplace such as a skilled nursing facility to take care of me for a couple of weeks. I am bedridden and cannot use my legs anymore. I am a big guy and need to transfer into my wheelchair with the help of a Hoyer lift.

Please let me know through this forum if you are aware of a good facility that one doesn't need to own a diamond mine to afford.
I live in Fullerton, CA (North Orange county or south Los Angeles county.)

Hi Larry,
I'd suggest checking out the National MS Society and also maybe calling local community hospitals who have social workers that might be able to point you in the right direction.
