Restless Leg and uncontrollable body jerks

I was wondering if anyone with RLS has used the Neupro patch, I am on Copaxon 40 3x a week, my neuro gave me samples of the patch but I am finding it is to difficult to figure where to put the daily patch because it goes in the places where my shots go! The benefits of the patch doesn't out way the stress. Any info on what you have found to work for RLS would greatly be appreciated!

I've been wearing leg warmers at night for RLS for over 30 years now. The additional warmth seems to do the trick.

My niece folds up quilts or blankets an lays them across her legs. The added weight seems to do it for her.

    Good luck!

        Annoying!!!!

        Hi there!

I have RLS too and it's a pain in the you know what. Gaberpetin has really given me relief. I'm on a high dose and it also relieves the burning and fisiculations I get. Man...oh....man I feel for you because you loose sleep and is terriably annoying. You might want to talk to your specialist about it and other options.

My best to you.........and hope you get relief real soon.

I'll second Diamond, at least as far as RLS goes (no amount seems to help with paresthesia) -- gabapentin usually does the trick...

My doctor recommended I take a calcium supplement right before bed and most nights it helps tremendously! If I feel it starting I also stretch for about 10-15 minutes and that seems to help as well.
