Today I read two completely opposing views:
MS patients are not able to produce the right amt. of histamines b/c some virus has attacked the cells that produce the histamine. When the cells burst, the histamine is finally produced but then the virus is released into the bloodstream only to start the cycle all over again. The theory was that histamine is required to myelinate the nerves.
Opposing view- taking an over the counter allergy medicine WITH anti-histamines may be useful for MS.
What am I missing?
