If anyone has any input on finding yourself agan... The only things I loved were drawing and running and MS has taken my leg and arm on the left side...I am left handed. Hard not to feel purposeless....

Have you lost complete use of your left hand? If so then OT can give you tools to use your right hand. Tools that will literally make paint brushes and small utensils have a fat section so that they are easier to grasp. This gives that hand more control over the utensil and you are able to paint/draw with greater ease. You already have the talent, it just helps you use the opposite hand. It takes some practice but can be done. I paint, and my left hand (I am left handed) is useless. I use these fat products to train my right hand to take over my painting and it really works. It is frustrating at first, but can be done, and is quite rewarding. Check it out through the OT department of your local hospital.
