    MRI tomorrow...

I am scheduled to have my brain and tspine mri tomorrow. at this point we are not sure what is going on with me. Dr. thinks autoimmune and at first thought lupus because i have a positive ANA, but the ana panel came back all normal, so the rheumatologist said i do not have lupus. I would say 5 out of 7 days a week I am extremely fatigues and just an all over body ache. Kind of like always having the flu maybe?! I have numbness in both hands and feet. and even when I do the least little thing like clean the living room, my arms go numb from the elbow to fingertips and nothing will make it go away for a long time. Just hope to finally get a diagnosis of something so I can start some kind of treatment. I am too young to feel like this. Please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow.... that we can finally get somewhere Thanks!!

leannec: I am sorry you have been having such a hard time lately. Hopefully the testing will show something and point you in the right direction.

Wishing you the best. Let us know how it goes, OK?

Thank you! Yes, I will definitely let you all know what it says. Does anyone have alot of leg pain? Like everyday leg pain. It just feels deep and aching and now I am having foot twitches and leg spasm and sometimes my hands twitch on their own...

        pending MRI

        Good luck tomorrow! !
If you are claustrophobic at all...have the tech fold a washcloth lengthwise and lay it across your eyes. Hopefully, you got a little valium to take the edge off.
I have had to "shoot the tube" numerous times...with the washcloth, don't need anything else!
It does make a lot of loud clicks, bangs that rival gunfire. You will be offered earplugs.
Let us know...getting my Dx, sucked, but yet a relief as now I wasn't "crazy" anymore!

oh yes, I have an rx for valium regularly, so I will just take one for the test I am the same way as you... if it is MS, it will suck... but at least i will finally know why I feel the way I feel!

                pain/spasms

Yes, I have all those various "treats" daily.

It tells me it's time to "play" with my meds.

My focus is SOLELY quality of life!

Oh yeah, a strange quirk. ..I have horrible banding pain, but cannot take opioid pain meds as it 'locks' up my knees making walking safely impossible. ..I choose to walk, thank you!

Hello - just checking in and wondering how it went for you?

Not officially diagnosed due to non-MS-specific spots on MRIs, but the neurologists all agree it's MS.
Frustrated. January 2019: finally saw an MS specialist worth seeing. Maybe we'll get to the bottom of this.
