Who put that wall there? Just for fun...

I know you had a moment like this before ... please feel free to share.

I was walking down the hall (sounds like the start of a bad joke before bed and the only light that was one was my son's at the end of the hallway. All of a sudden he turned off the switch and it was dark ... in that split second from him hitting the switch my body quickly bounced off the wall and returned. Lol!

I know I need the light or I do getting dizzy etc but this was just weird. Of course I asked my son 'Why'd you push me into the wall?' he was like 'what?' and I explained it and he just laughed. Laughter is the best medicine.

So have you had any weird/funny things happen because of your symptoms?

    you bet

I was looking for something in the frozen food section of grocery store. Asked guy stocking shelves for help finding it. He found it down the aisle, I turned toward him way too fast, went flying, ended up forcing myself into his arms so I did not go down. I looked him in the eye, and said, "I think you just saved MY LIFE."

I think he thought I meant cuz he found my chicken, and he looked at me strange and I never saw him in the aisle again. I think he ran.

And btw, if it is dark I cannot seem to know where my feet are, and I cannot walk at all without stumbling, falling, etc.

Yep, I think we all have stories to relate. I take a step in one direction but my body decides to go another. I always laugh and say the earth suddenly tipped.

Too funny ... a day in the life of a MSer ... lol.

I know those walls always seem to get in my way and next time my feet take me in a different direction I'll have to say the world tipped again ...

As far as walking in the dark ... it is definitely a no go for me. I did however notice if I am touching something it helps a little but I try to jump in bed fast because by the time I lift my hand off the end table everything spins quick.

I always describe me walking down the hall as pin ball machine because back and forth I go ... lol.

LOL! A pin ball machine is the only thing it reminds me of to date. There's no way else to describe it.

PS I'm glad you found the chicken I think I would have been speechless if that happened to me, only because when I have incidences like that my mind goes blank ... kind of like rebooting a computer. 'We'll be back right after this' ... lol.
