Does anyone have any information about black mold and MS? We just discovered that we have some in our basement. It's probably been there for years. With all our various illnesses I just have to wonder about it.

Me too!!!! I moved into an apartment about 9 months ago and there is mold everywhere. and what do you know 4 months into moving in I developed optic neuritis and was diagnosed with MS. Now I'm developing numbness and tingling on the left side of my body. I'm just like what are the odds that all the sudden I have all the symptoms develop so quickly. I've never had signs of MS and always been so healthy. Does anyone think mold has been a factor in my symptoms?Comment

I was curious about this and did a quick internet search. I found MANY articles regarding black mold and neurological symptoms. I am not sure if the scientific community would say that the mold causes MS but it can certainly cause symptoms that mimic MS. So sorry you all are in that situation!Newbie
