i went to the eye dr for a check up and when i told her about my eye pain and closing and opeening my eyes all i could see was gray like someone wrapped a gray bandana over. my face and she made me follow a light wwhich brought me to tears from the pain she did about five more things with my eyes and looked at me with such cincern and asked if my body ever went numb or twitched i said yes my eye lids and pinky finger and my legs are either hurting really bad or completely numb or stabbing pains sge said my concern is u havve ms from what i think..and referred me to a specialist i haven't went yet and am very confuseed and scared please any opinions would help.

I went through something similar in Dec 2011. My right eye suddenly "popped", and I had terrible pain from moving my eye left and right.
Did you pain start first, followed by blurry vision. Don't panic. It may be what is called Optic Neuritis, an inflammation of the optic nerve, but a Nueral Opthamalogist should take a look, and do an MRI. That is pretty standard, for you to be sure it is MS or not. Don't panic yet....

Have you been to mexico?
In my search for a NON MS related issue the "graying" of the eye reminded me of something but I can not remember what.
