    Hot Yoga?

For those of you that do yoga, have you ever or do you practice hot yoga? I practice hatha yoga three times a week. I know that hot is generally a "no no" but I'm curious. The main thing that concerns me is there was a week were I was feeling "off" and my hatha class was immediately preceding hot yoga so they were warming the room up. Well, it wasn't good-I was in my first down dog of the evening and the world started spinning around me. I quietly took my leave and was fine shortly after getting cooled off.

So, should I even try or consider myself warned and stick to what I know I can do?

I do practice yoga and have for years now, but I've never done "hot yoga".

Having your body temp rise can cause a "pseudo-flare", but once your body has cooled down, you recover quickly. It sounds like this is what you experienced. It's entirely up to you whether you want to subject yourself to this, but to me it sounds counterintuitive to the benefits that yoga offers.
