Numbness in my back

This is a new one. Today as I was driving home from work I felt a numbness in one spot of my back. I have lots and lots of bulging discs so I know it can be from those. But I wondered if MS could also be at work here.

I went numb from the rib cage down to my waist, straight down the middle of my abdomen & it wrapped around to my spine. It was from a lesion in my spine. The feeling came back but now I am stuck with back spasms.

So it could be MS, or it could be a disc.
