    Sneezing, sneezing, sneezing!

So, I am not sick and do not have allergies but I am sneezing SO MUCH that I am wondering if this is an MS thing. Does anyone have bouts of up to 10 sneezes (not dainty ones either) in a row about 10 times a day without any other upper resp symptoms?

It's gotten so bad the blood vessels in my right eye are very red and noticeable. I know I ought to see a Dr but I am tired of them. Just want to see if anyone else has had this happen.

When was the last time you checked in with an allergy specialist? That serial sneezing sounds familiar to me...like hay fever/ragweed.

I never had allergies until M.S., and not surprisingly, I came down with a mess of allergies and psoriasis the same time I was discovered to have M.S. One second I was healthy as a horse then boom! My auto-immune system went crazy all at once! As if M.S. alone wasn't miserable enough!

I can't say for sure whether I am a victim of M.S. or a victim of a crazy aggressive autoimmune system mass attack in which the defiling of my myelin sheaths is only one piece of a really complex puzzle. I think I might have arthritis, too, but am in no hurry to find out!

I use a Nettie pot and take OTC allergy medicines as opposed to going as far as shots, one a week is too much already with my Avonex! I also bring Kleenex everywhere. Luckily they allergy things ebb and flow, but I have been having the same sneezing attacks you described. Winter will kill off a lot of this stuff causing it, thank God!

D'you know, I'd never thought of this. I was the most allergic child on earth (yes, yes, maybe not). Cats, horses, wheat dust. Red eyes and runny nose and sneezing half my childhood.

      Oh, farm life was good.

Then I got glandular fever when I was about 11, and suddenly I could brush the horse without sneezing like a loon. Hugging the cat etc.
Perhaps, just perhaps, that illness was the thing that reset my immune system.
      Who knows?
