I live in the research triangle. I go to UNC hospitals and Dr. Silva Markovic-Plese. She is one of the best MS specialists and is also a neuroimmunologist. There are others in the practice.

Some others in NC are:

1. Dr. Freedman: Raleigh Neurology
2. Dr. Mark Skeen: Duke University Medical Center (also 5 others in practice).
3. Dr. Pharr: Wake Forest University (Winston Salem).
4. Dr. Michael Kaufman and Jill Conway (Carolinas Medical Center) Charlotte NC.

There are several others I am sure but these are the major ones. You can also contact the NMSS for central Carolina and they can assist you with finding a specialist.
