    best martial art?

What would be the best martial art for a person with MS to take?
Has anyone taken karate, taekwondo, aikido, etc?

T'ai Chi is a gentle, but powerful, martial art. It's often adapted for people with MS. My son teaches it.

      I'd second T'ai Chi.
It might look like its boring, but there's a lot going on plus a lot of meditation.

        I'll 3rd T'ai Chi!

My brothers who have multiple black belts in various martial arts told me that not only would this form be a good workout but I'd learn how to fall safely

          I'll 4th Tai Chi

It helps with balance (physical and mental) among other things.

I would not recommend taekwando unless you are quite the active MS'er because there is alot of hitting, kicking, and general hi-ya' ing. My son loves it but I think it would kill me!
