    BACK & NECK MUSCLE PAIN

    For the last week I have been dealing with lower back and new muscle tightness when doing simple, easy tasks. If I bend down more than twice my back starts. if i continue to bend over move in the wrong way my neck become still/tight and the two of them together can be unbearable.

    Yesterday I was doing somthings in my garage and it wasn't long before I could barely move and when I did it was extremely painful.

    Has anyone else experienced this or even heard of?
    Dx'd 4/1/11. First symptoms in 2001. Avonex 4/11, Copaxone 5/12, Tecfidera 4/13 Gilenya 4/14-10/14 Currently on no DMT's, Started Aubagio 9/21/15. Back on Avonex 10/15

    Yeah, the story of my life, it seems. Sorry to hear you're having the same problems, but please don't assume it's from MS, although we never know. I was 23 years old when I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease, and as of right now, all my disks in my neck are protruding and one is herniated.

    I also have disk problems in my lower back as well, and all of this causes muscular pain and can lead to headaches, bending over causes more pain, pins and needles, the list goes on. I suggest going to a bone doc - orthopedic, but also discuss it with your Neuro/MS Specialist as well. Be safe in both areas.

      My neck is hurting so badly altely I am ready to cry.....I know everything is not from MS, but when it goes away for a few days then comes back, I tend to think that is what it is from. I do not do much on those days and I pop a pain pill whic helps. Hot compresses also help mine.

      If you find any tricks, let me know please.
