    Stairs...

Stairs are not my friend and in fact, i make sure those with me go first. I dislike anyone behind me, watching how I take the stairs. I usually insist they go before me, even Men. If I can avoid stairs, I will. Always choose elevator!!

I was having many issues in the stairs and last months hubby was helping me. I have no washroom on the first floor so stairs were my opponent.

Hubby now being at work, I'm living upstairs, mostly in bed. Transferring to my wheelchair became impossible on my own because I lost all muscles in my legs.

In the last few days, I've been trying to stand. I can't stand on my own but I ask hubby to help hold me up.

I bob around like a yoyo but its rebuilding a bit of muscle and I am now able to transfer on my own.

I suggest to anyone that is able to, take the stairs even though its difficult. It will keep you mobile.
When I can laugh at my experiences, I own them and they don't own me!
