i was diagnosed in 2010 and feel i have progressed alot since then. i have been a dental assistant for 8yrs and recently had to quit due to my legs, optical neuritis, fatigue, memory loss, confusion, more lesions on my brain mri last month..yada yada yada...well i applyed for disability in december, and got the denial letter today...they have all my medical history and records, i just dont understand!! grrrrr, guess i have to get a lawyer and appeal it??

Don't feel bad. I have been diagnosed PPMS by a neuro, confirmed by an MS Specialist and still turned down. My dad was turned down 3 times with PPMS.
I think it is the luck of the draw who looks at your application and whether you get approved or not the first time. Keep trying, you will get it. As for the attorney, I went with Allsup because I didn't want the stress and wasn't real confident in my cognitive ability to appeal.
