    Is this "spasticity"?

I swear I saw a spasticity sticky somewhere, but of course I can't find it now when I need it.

Just wondering if these symptoms are the start of the spasticity that everybody talks about. My right leg thigh muscle has started just contracting on it's own, out of the blue. It only lasts a second or two, and my back calf muscle also does it. Ironically it's the same leg that has the numbness/tingling stuff.
Diagnosed Aug. 2011 - Currently on Tysabri

The sticky you are looking for is under the Medication and Treatment board.
Sounds like the spasms I get. I have alot of pain with mine too.

You might want to have your PCP check your calcium and magnesium levels. Low calcium can give you tight muscles and charlie horses.

I've heard magnesium works with calcium for absorption but you might want to do some research on that.

The spasticity I get makes my calves tight and the center of my foot feels like it's getting sucked up into my leg. It makes it difficult to walk. I take Baclofen for it. My occupational therapist tells me to stretch those muscles (like you would stretch your foot if you got a charlie horse in it--same principal).
