I LOVE Biogen Idec.. Good News Finally!
Talked to the Avonex support people and after two days of talking with them they got me approved for help with my medications. I'd posted ... last week?... about my insurance charging me more for my Avonex and not being able to afford it. After talking with Avonex they managed to get me approved for their $10 monthly copay program. Thank goodness! They were wonderful and even offered to have their acreedo(sp?) pharmacy send me two free doses until they could get everything changed. Unfortunately the pharmacy hasn't called me and I can't seem to get them to hurry it along. Seems I'll be missing a dose of Avonex this week but at least I'll be able to stay on it in the end. Thank the gods for small miracles. ^_^ Just wanted to share the wonderful news!
