MS and PAIN

I have a question. I was dx in 2009 and lately have been having pain in my leg, right side of rib cage and lower abdomen. MY Dr. tested me for fibormyalgia which came back negative. He said it was the MS and that I could get a cortizone shot. My question is, is this a good idea and does anyone else have any other suggestions. So far I have been taking Ibuprophen which helps some but it has been waking me up in the middle of the night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I too have the MS hug and the pain that goes with it. I have horrible spasms in my legs and the pain is terrible. My doctor gave me baclofen for the spasms and has me on amitriptiline for pain.
