I am familiar with this. my sister-in-law had it (she does not have MS) I'm not sure how she got rid of it but I also had an oral rash at the time & we discussed mixing equal parts of cherry maalox & cherry liquid benadryl. (I bought 2 4 oz bottles & mixed them in an empty water bottle) I swished for 1-2 minutes & spit twice a day for a week & it worked--my rash was gone Not sure if it will help you or if you're interested in trying but just FYI. Good Luck!

Last year my husband's gums started peeling. We eventually found out that he had Pemphigus, which is very similar to lichen planus. We live in the Dallas area and his dentist sent him to the Baylor school of dentistry for treatment. He was given a steroid cream to use on his gums and had to use the biotene toothpaste and mouthwash. After about a year of treatment his gums are better. Luckily, it didn't spread to his skin or eyes. Definitely get it checked out. The earlier you catch it always the better. Good luck!
