took bad fall

yesterday clearins snow off car window. fell n drive.

dw calld 911, meatwagon 2er. horrable ER, mratwagon rid hurt, bumps!!

er refused my req 4 more pain kill r, told no broken bones/ribs.

sure hurts like heell t\2 move r-torso arm. i tld then problem ,hurt but couls nove.\

sent home from er, still hurtting bad even with flexeeril +vicoden

Hey Gomer,

As far as the ambulance ride...I once heard the rough ride described like this. An ambulance has no shock absorbers...you can run over a quarter and tell if it's heads or tails

that seems pretty accurate...hope you feel better soon.

so sorry to hear about your fall, ambulance ride and all that pain! thank God for your DW being around. i'd hate to think of you lying in that snow.

my one ride in an ambulance was awful too. but they also had me strapped to a board with my head strapped down (afraid of spine injury) and the dumb board had a screw or something right where my head laid!
everything turned out alright, but i think my headache lasted longer than nec!

Sorry about your fall. hope u recover soon. your description reminds me of some incidents I have had..you know the kind...close and personal with the floor/ground. (lol) At least there are no broken bones. I hope there's not too much pain. Those "heat" things at the drig store work well on ribs. Good Luck

Debbie had the same kind of thought I did... really? In the snow? It's snowing here today and it looks so pretty and soft out there... guess its like we joke about falling off a horse, its not falling off that hurts, its the hitting the ground that gets you...
