    Phantom Athlete's Foot?

I have what feels like athlete's foot. It's a mildly painful sensation under my toes, in the area between the 'toe pad' and where the toe connects to the foot. When I look at the area there doesn't appear to be anything there. It's soft and smooth. I've had real athlete's foot before and there was always some visual indication. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

I think of skin rawness more than itching, but get both with athlete's foot. From MS, the closest I get is extreme (dysesthetic) itching. The itching can happen almost anywhere, for me...

    Hope that helps,

I have felt that slight burning sensation in the pad of my feet (or foot) and a little between my toes, and I look but nothing is there.
