    This is a great discussion and video. For further video and article, go to aarp.org/relationship/friends-family/info-11-2011/vieraa.html-...This is a long article and includes further video of Richard and Viera. These are great spokes-people(?) for MS!

      If anyone is interested in Caregiving (and a terrible view of me) in Arizona, PBS local(Phoenix) did a 10 min. interview at this site; if this is permissible(or should I go to my info loc?)-http.http://www.azpbs.org/horizon/details...milyCaregivers This is a short interview with my wife, me, David Best (Arizona Caregiver Coalition) and Dr. David Coon (prof. at ASU. they are good role models

        Richard and Meredith are two very strong people to look up to. It's an illness that make it difficult for many people to handle. You need a good support base and adding a touch of humor seem to make it worth the journey together.
        I agree with Richard, more needs to be done in the medical field to expand the horizon on MS. I keep hearing of adult stem cell research being a better outlook on treatment. It is so hard to keep up with everything, that it makes my head spin.
        Thank You for sharing

                alanpgh,
                Apparently it is no longer available on-line. I have contacted the interviewers to see if it can again be made available, at least to this forum, or get a copy and figure out a way to make it available that way.

                Thanks,
                jayjee

                  Yes, The Special on them

                  Was on TV the same night I was diagnosed(Jan 2004). I sent ABC an email from the hospital, dunno if they got it. It was just a coincidence I suppose.

                        Alan,
                        Don't know if this worth it to you or anybody, but several were not; I am further advised to do the following;
                        Go to http://www.azpbs/horizon
                        Click on Horizon
                        Click on Archives
                        In keyword space, type in the words "Family Caregivers"
                        Click on "Videos"
                        Sorry I bothered you with all this.
