I know what I am about say may sound like I must have scars on my brain, well in fact I have plenty...SO WHAT?

Get out of the house/prison and HELP someone ELSE! volunteer somewhere doing something, What does not matter, just your time and ANY thing you CAN DO.

You will not only be helping someone else in need, but YOU will fill YOUR needs as well.

Well, thank the Lord for that. You had us worried. Don't do that again, as my mother would say.
Seriously - we're all here, whenever you need to 'talk'. You're never alone.

            Gomer's right, again!

Volunteering, or doing something that helps somebody else, always helps me.

Good to see you here tonight, Buzz. I'm glad you decided to take some positive action on this. Hang in there. Give yourself some time. One major loss can be too much to deal with, and you've just been dealt a whole handful of losses. Just know you're going to go through these phases, and they're going to be painful and make you question why to bother.

In six months or a year from now things might be looking a whole lot more positive. There's nothing wrong with an AD during the rough spells. They can be a Godsend sometimes.

              Hugs.
I do not have MS. I have Whatchamacallit; and all of the symptoms are mirages.

Hey there Buzzing- thankful to see your on the board here as you had us worried! Hopefully each day will get alittle easier for you! You did the right thing- by not doing "anything"! See- you do have others who care, even though we don't know you personally. Please come back often and let us know how your doing! Casino

                  Buzzing,

Thank God you are feeling better, and are still with us!!! Now, just one day at a time, ok?

I think Gomer's idea is AWESOME! How could helping someone else NOT help you?

Remember this next time. Remember that you felt better after feeling low. Remember there is something that can change how you feel--that we are here--that you can get meds--that you can make a difference in someone else's life. Come back and read these posts again when you are feeling low. Hang in there buddy.

                        How old are the kids?

One thing you didn't mention was how old your children are. I assume they are rather young. When they are old enough to make their own decisions and have their own transportation they may have a more active relationship with you.

As for holidays, there is a "rescue mission" in my city that gives free meals on holidays. They always need volunteers for their holiday dinners. Are you able to help out at an organization like that where you are?
