It's BAAACK. The stupid buzzing, tingling vibrating from the waist down symptom from my relapse early this summer is back again. It progressed to numbness in July (5 days IVSM) and again in early September (3 days IVSM). Both times it improved only to recur starting with this increased buzzing. Maybe I am stuck with this.... Steroids seem to help only for a month to 6 weeks then I'm headed right back where I started. Has anybody else had an experience similar to this?

Buzzing/vibrations are perfectly normal abnormal sensations when having MS. They won't hurt you they are simply annoying.
You are correct, steroids may only be a temporary fix for a symptom that can increase, decrease or go away on it's own. Most neuro's won't even prescribe steroids for vibrations/buzzing.Diagnosed 1984

I've had paresthesia on my left side since my exacerbation in 2007. It's not constant but it's pretty easily triggered (e.g. if I sit for more than 10 minutes, if I lie on my left side, etc., boom there it is). I hope yours does clear up!2001: 1st 2 relapses, "probable MS." 2007: 3rd relapse. Dx of RRMS confirmed by MS specialist. Started Cpx. (Off Cpx Feb 08-Mar 09 to start a family; twins!) Dec '09: Started Beta. Oct '13: Started Tecfidera. May '15: Considering Gilenya.
