Anyone using a wheelchair sometimes?
I can walk and stand and sit. sometimes though, I really struggle getting around and need a wheel chair I think. I'm scared to make that move and scared not to.
I have a 504 disability plan to cover the fact that I can be in whatever positions I need to be in, receive assisstance as required, etc (highly recommend). Wheelchair- even occassional seems like a big step - but lately I am so tired I can barely make it through the day on my feet.
Anyone teaching in and out of a wheelchair? How did you make the switch? My school was built in 1972 and is not really accessible other than having an elevator. I wouldn't even be able to reach my desk.
