    Software to print your checks

I have difficulty writing these days. The more I write, the worse it looks and the more difficult it gets. My fingers just don't work sometimes.

I've been using bill pay on my bank's web site for most things, but occasionally I still have to hand write a check. Quicken will print checks for you, but you have to buy special (expensive) checks in their format.

I just found software that will print checks on your existing wallet size checks. It brings up a screen that looks like your check. You just type in the payee and amount, and put the check in your printer in the part that it uses to print an envelope. It only prints the things that you normally write, date, payee, amount, and spelled out amount.

It's at eftech.com. There's a free demo you can download to try it.

I know, I'm a gadget junkie. I just love things like this.
